1986年，公司总经理张爱臣先生退伍回乡后，与南京化工研究所共同研发MC尼龙材料在棒材与板材上的运用，并于1987年成立宝应鲁垛特种尼龙器材厂。

2009年，为进一步满足日益增长的市场需求，进一步提升制造、办公、信息化管理等水平，公司投入专项资金，新建尼龙轮生产线二期厂房和综合办公楼，并于2010年投入使用，产品年生产能力达60万套。

为进一步提高服务电梯行业的能力和水平，公司投入专项资金，一是通过精益生产设计思想对原电梯钣金件生产线进行升级改造，以期获得产能加倍、周转加速、物流高效的新生产线，二是全自动MC尼龙轮浇铸设备一、二期共十台完成工艺布局、安装调试并投入使用，生产效率、产品质量大幅提升。
